Bus Pilots: I was recycling some various metal and an old garage fridge Saturday morning and spotted this very nice looking bus at the Gertrude Street Recycling center. Drove back through the yard after settling up and asked the guy running the crusher about it and took a look under and inside. He said it belongs the Bulldog Auto Parts company next door. It has no motor and is a manula. Looked like it was filled inside with two motors, exhaust parts and a lawn mower. Prolly a mess inside, but looked pretty darn nice up close. I believe it was in its original colors. Hardly any rust anywhere visible and looked solid underneath. It seems the bus is near the end, but could be a good deal for someone with a motor. Anyway, we already pulled one bus and rebuilt the motor ( http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=862331) and got other projects on the burner.
