I parked next to another Vanagon at the Cass lake Visitors center at Cass Lake Minnesota with my '86 syncro back in '91 or '92. I hadn't seen another Vanagon in awhile and they looked good next to each other. When we came back (I had not seen the driver of the other Vanagon) the other Vanagon was gone as so were those little plastic half rounds that close the ends of the chrome rings in the window seals on my Van. The SOB ripped me off... That was the last time I parked next to another Vanagon in a parking lot like that.
