Dave, It is a cheap fix. Did you do it yourself? What a pain that repair was - well I may not remember it as too much of a pain except that I fixed mine in the middle of winter - laying outside in the snow - it was not fun. You're right though as far as fixes go - I'll take this one over many many others.
