I fully agree, this was even an official recall from VW, they have a thicker grey one (could be wrong on colour)

What i'm trying to say is that this is NOT a major problem in regard of oil leak! It's far from being my first pick.

And i'm not the expert, just happen to have reseal/rebuilt over 51 wasser engine. I have seen stuff, strange stuff.
