-8F/-22C at Casa Squirrel this morning. Weatherman says to expect a high
of 9F/-13C today.

Like living in Frostbite Falls, Minn. again.

I thought the water pipes in the house had frozen. Toilet gave one flush
and the tank didn't refill. I sat and thought, "Uh oh." But there was
pressure at the sink faucet. Turned out to be a broken flush handle chain
in the tank. Gave me pause, though.

It should be sunny today and tomorrow -- nothing as cheering as blue skies
and sunlight.
