Folks, There is still a Tornado Red automatic passenger van ('91-ish) in my work neighborhood that has been sitting for a couple of years and is likely for sale.  "Needs work for the overheating," as the woman told me.  Never seen an oficial For Sale sign on it and I go by about once a week.   Stephen

I loved my Tornado Red 90. One of the most shocking things I've ever seen was when I walked out of target and saw another red one parked front to front with mine. I didn't know whether to call the Society for Short-Lived Phenomenon or the cops (I checked mine for missing stuff before driving off, I confess).

Red is the best for a Vanagon, IMO.
