With all due respect to Ms. Squires, from whom the van was stolen, her insurance company paid off the claim and she is the LAST person who has a legal claim on it, despite how strongly we may feel in her favor.  Regardless of how anyone feels about VWs and/or insurance companies, I can't believe this is actually under consideration.   Stephen
