Maybe a Jeep is easier to flush and bleed than a Vanagon.

It sounds like my son has the straight scoop when it comes to getting the most out of his cooling system while clambering up and down steep roads in the summer. Now all he has to do is remember to change to an antifreeze mix when winter comes.

The point made by Don about the risk to the desert environment and associated critters if poisonous antifreeze is spilled is a good one.
