Thanks, Tony. Yes, odd to have an early diesel Jetta. Sucker even has air. Weight is clearly significant as the 1.6na propels this little sedan effortlessly at 70mph. Try that in a the moving guardrail called a Diesel Vanagon Westy of the same vintage.;-)

Guessing there was a problem between AT&T and the Listserv because I just got all the mail from the List as soon as I sent that message. In case some are wondering, parts of AT&T's cell network was down on and off the past couple of days.
