Folks, 
Shoebox Electronix and Van-Cafe have donated two ECU testers- one for 83-85 and one for 86-91 rigs. We have listed the items on eBay, with all proceeds from the auctions going towards the Pay it Forward Fund. This are similar to what Darrel made for the ecus and penned is as a "digitool".

These list for $200 and $250 respectively. The auction is 10 days, $0.99 opening bid and no reserve. Please bid early and bid often. 

The PIF Fund is a fund managed by Larry Chase that strives to help like minded VW folks in need.
