Hi folks,

Not sure the protocol on this list, but I just joined today and thought I'd introduce myself. I'll probably be a lurker more than anything, but have been meaning to join this list (or a vanagon list) for quite some time. My name is Sheilah and I'm the proud owner of an 86 Westy whom I call Vanna White. 

She's been my fave for 10 years, but I've become neglectful. Apparently it shows and the things I need and/or want to do with her are mounting, but my pocketbook will have none of it, at least for now. So we'll see how it goes. It may be a slow road. (What's new, eh.)

I'd really like to fix her up though and I think it's high time I start to understand a bit more about her inner workings, both mechanically as well as the conversion part, so we'll see how this goes as a start.
