I have not seen an oil cooler actually leak.
I have seen though, where the hose nipples are under the hoses - fairly bad
corrosion there.
I have perhaps half a dozen good used oil coolers if anyone needs one.

pressure test would be nice -  that might help pinpoint the source of the
leak.
I've had those little hoses on the oil cooler fail before.  That happens
sometimes.
