Wow. That sounds like a very scary ride. Don't give up on Wavey
unless you found her body. As some one else said, cats are very
tough and resourceful. She may be hiding in a culvert or something
near the crash site. If you can get back out there and call for her
and look around, she may turn up. Glad the strong vanagon held up
well and protected you two.
