I'd expect a DMV in the states to have issues with a Westy being registered as a car and then insured as an RV, or for an insurance company to behave the same way. You might squeak through but most probably would get caught and would then have to work things out. I'm just saying that I'd expect it can't be that easy here. HI All, I am up here in Canada in BC which has Government run car insurance. I found out from another Westy owner that you can insure it as a motohome and then you put any price you want on its worth. Sounds great because I was worried about how much I would get for it if it was wrecked. I insured the syncro westy I did own that way and they just asked me the price I wanted to insure it for and I told them. Piece of cake no other question asked!!! David |
