The lower loop is more sheltered, but officially a 'tent only' loop. The rangers enforce the tents rule, but if you take a small pup tent & put that up next to your Westy, that seems to satisfy them

Because there could be 10 or more VW's coming we will go to the upper loop and won't use the "tent only" lower loop. We don't want to take the tent sites from the "real" tenters. How would a tenter feel if they couldn't get a spot in the tent loop cause it was full of VW's?
