I don't know what kind of time frame you have to argue with them, but i'd say patience is key. They have the car, they have to pay to continue to store the car..... they want to get rid of the car, but can't do that untill you're happy. I'd start sending them links to cars for sale in the same condition as yours and try to meet them in the middle somewhere. When it's all said and done, you might not get all you have invested into it..... but that's the cost of owning and operating a vehicle. I think the offer they've given you is reasonable, but i think you have some room to barter a bit.
