Oh, sorry Mr Mike,
My inline VW motor has an Idle Control Valve as do plenty of other VW
motors. My 92 Jetta-Golf-Rabbit motor has so many other parts that are the
exact same as a WBX motor's that I just assumed you have an idle control
valve in that one.
Your 'symptoms' were/are so exactly the same as I had when my Idle Control
valve was acting up.
I replaced mine and my little Mouse-motor started behaving again.
Since the symptoms were so specific...I typed "Idle Control
Valve"...thinking "Ah Ha!...One that I know something about and can actually
help with"...My mistake, and again, sorry if I caused you to look for a part
that's not even in your WBX motor.
