The pic of the tranny magnetic plug? Quite a bit of metal there, more than i usually see on most of them I have changed (except when I corn-cobbed the teeth right off the input shaft of my GT racer's tranny).. Maybe it'd be informative to do another change of fluid and another look for metal on the drain plug? You could just quickly stuff something in the hole after removing the plug and take a quick look without changing the oil, too. How long did you go to get the filings you show in your pic? If you pull that plug again and see another significant batch of metal filings you maybe should consider taking remedial action before something lets go inside and makes a real mess. Don Hanson
