Many moons ago, back in my air-cooled bus days, I purchased one of these. I decided to test it in the middle of the backyard. Good thing. Worked fine, until I turned it off and heard a loud FOOM at which time it was engulfed in flames!! Just an FYI to check the unit thoroughly and ensure all seals are working properly. Not mine. I found this today. Shows it installed on a Thing, but could it be installed easily in a Vanagon? Interested parties can contact the guy.
