Hey Alan, don't know if you saw that "Gee-Bee" at the GTD VW forum is putting an order together for diesel-vanagon hoses.

Confusingly, his first version is a silicone version of the TIICO hose (inline gasser hoses that van-cafe sells)

These seem to be nearly identical (the water pump bypass hose looks different, but the weird hoses similar?) to the Euro JX? turbo-diesel hoses, that use the larger diameter late-model expansion tank and larger diameter plastic pipes.

Looks perfect for a late-model diesel conversion.

I'm HOPING we can get together an order that will fit the STOCK '82 and '83 1.6NA diesels. I've posted pics of the differences between '82 and TIICO, but I've never seen the stock hoses on the '83.

Something that would fit the smaller pipes, and the smaller expansion tank. There are other minor differences, but I'm trying to figure this all out myself. Maybe the TIICO hoses tooled with stepped ends would work fine, anyone doing this?

Will in Alaska

P.S. Anyone got a photo and/or measurements of the stock '83 diesel coolant hoses?
