in why-owe-ming i was able to rent a car by simply signing that i would
repay full value if wiped out...
the only insurance paper i had was more than 1 year old and long past its
shelf life...
the why-owe-ming hiway patrol found that paper in the wreck and brought it
to the hospital
he said it was good enough so long as i said it was good enough ...
the rental guy took this also as proof of financial responsibility ...
it appears that my best next step is to insure myself and wife in ohio in
the vehicle we use to return to bc ... if icbc gives me a temp permit then i
have to get a temp permit for each state i travel through ... that could get
ridiculus ... indeed the idea already makes it so ...
as the process unwinds over the ensueing days i will describe to y'all what
transpires and it unwinds ...
i will imagine the only part that will be useful to the americans reading
this will be the adjusters mode ... and we all know he pritsd from the low
end of the scale and we do not get to see the scale ...
