Yes Volks it's here again. The premier van event at the north end of Ocean Beach, San Francisco on Saturday, January 9,beginning about 3 or so and ending with a big burn, bURNINGvAN 2010! Christian P will be there with tales of travels to far off exotic lands, maybe some photos [Christian?]. Mourkas claims she can't detour on her way to Death Valley which is on the way to BBB. I don't understand why not. And this year there's a rumor that BenT, cofounder of the event, may actually show up BEFORE the event is over. How's that for exciting? Well I'm excited and I'm the one who's starting the rumor. I'm trying to contact the Stockton contingent. Last year they showed up with a wrecked bug case which brightened up the day considerably, and the night too. [We're still apologizing to the ship that ran aground last year by following the bright light]. And the usual cast of thousands. I'll post this on the syncro list. If anyone knows how to post on SAMBA would they please do that? Although I'm not sure why a bunch of dancers would be interested. Oh well. Mike from Marin |
