Jeff, I would get that problem with the no heat thing checked as soon as possible. If you are getting combustion gases into the coolant your coolant is being transformed into acid and it will eat the inside of your coolant system up like a ravenous rat. You can get a test kit from NAPA for $45 that will tell you one way or the other if you are getting combustion gases into the coolant. It is called Block Test Kit and if you need more info pmail me. What does your coolant temp look like on the gauge? It could be that your thermostat is bad and isn't let the engine get warm enough to keep the front heater hot on cold days. BTDT with my 90 Carat. I put in a new 87 deg thermostat (stock) and I have great heat now. Before the coolant temp would never get above the white on the gauge. Now it runs in the middle like it should. If you need any more advice or parts please let me know. Ken Wilford John 3:16 www.vanagain.com
