Jim, I would start with a new Temp II sensor if you haven't already
replaced it. If that is good then check your wiring and grounds
especially. Reversing the two pins of the temp II sensor shouldn't
matter since it is still completing the circuit and giving the proper
resistance reading. You can do some tests with an ohm meter and the
Bentley manual that will find your problem in less than an hour if it is
fuel injection or wiring related. Look up the pin out tests at the ECU
plug and do them and you will most likely find the problem very
quickly. If you need any help or parts please let me know. We ship
