Hi Loren, that certainly is an extra fair offer you're making, on your AT axles.

tell you what - if no one else needs them or wishes to take them off your hands, I can, and I'm just a very few minutes off I-5 in Southern Oregon, at exit 24, Phoenix, OR.

Be glad to trade you a vanagon part perhaps .......or several, depending on how rare/valuable they are, from my large stash of parts and vans. or just keep your axles along with all the other hundreds or thousands of vanagon parts I preserve and maintain so that they can eventually help vanagons stay healthy.

so.....if no one else steps forward, please consider this. and it would be nice to meet ya too ! and a trip south sure sounds great right about now. If you just happen to be by this way about time to camp ...........I have a nice vanagon-filled yard, wi-fi, and shore power hookup, plus bathroom for visiting vanagonauts.

I have a pair of axles, w/CVs, from a '90 Westy w/automatic transmission, used, probably 150,000 miles on them, but running fine, no noises or problems, when they were removed. These are avialable to someone that actually needs them (bad CVs now or a Vanagon not running because of bad CVs, etc). I have no idea how many more miles these have in them, I just know they were running fine when removed. And for those not aware of this, they will only work with an automatic transmission, won't fit the stock 4 speed tranny. If you are just looking a a set of spares, $40 to you. If you actually need these then they are free. I won't ship them but I'll be traveling south from the Seattle area to Death Valley and then the Havasu for BBTB, leaving about this time next week, and could probably live with them onboard for a couple of days and meet up somewhere. I'm in Lynnwood, just north of Seattle.
