Went back to buy the tires but decided against them. According to the stamp (1903) it appears they were manufactured sometime around May, 2003. That and the price went up $100 (a different guy that helped me the first time. This time the owner). What bothered me more was that when I asked him them how old they were he said he didn't know. I suppose he assumed I wouldn't know how to determine it myself. Oh well, I figured the original price of $200 was too good to be true. Mark K 1986 GL/2WD/4SPD
