you might not be local to me, but I have two sunroof diesel vans for sale. both are diesel. ( or I'll convert them to waterboxer if you like or do a Subaru engine conversion for anyone that's up for that , or inline four gasoline VW engine - whatever you prefer. ) one is a 'near perfect' almost ding free ( like two tiny dings ) 82 Sunroof diesel Vanagon. the other is a 5 speed sunroof diesel vanagon. The 82 has been stored indoors for two years, in a dry climate, and can clean up to near showroom condition. Miles on it are 124K I think. It's totally rust free. the 5 speed 83, doesn't have any seam rust or anything serious like that. Has a not too bad dent in the rear hatch, which I am in the process of removing, or at least reducing significantly. my collection sure isn't as large as the picture of Vanagon Heaven though. but.....all those identical looking vanagons, sorted by color ? that's not a photo-shopped picture ? and how odd that there are hardly any westy tops showing anywhere.
