Looking at substituting a tachometer from a '90 Vanagon for a clock in an '86 Vanagon. Several questions ..... 1. Will the '90 tach fit in the '86 van? 2. Will the circuit "ribbon" from the clock/spedometer work with the tach/speedometer combination? 3. Are there other unidentified pitfalls I need to consider? Thanks.
