Check your coolant level at the expansion tank (in engine bay with blue or black cap on it) to see if your level is low there. The no heat thing is a warning that something is not right in your coolant system. Either low coolant or air in the system from a bad head gasket or cracked head. Hopefully it is just low coolant.
