Subject: Anyone Win those new Syncro OM EMU shocks on ebay?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed

I was watching them and the set of 4 were at $124 with a day or so left. Advertised as brand new and never installed. Hoping someone got a good deal on them.

I won an Ebay auction for a set of 4 "used" Bilstein HD's for the GL that had 3,000 miles on them for $125. The standard duty Bilsteins I have on my GL now are 8 years old and they were taken off an 87 GL which I have no idea how many miles they had on them when I did the transplant back then. Anyone know how to tell when Bilsteins are shot? Maybe when the yellow paint turns"rusty" brown?

Considering that the cheapest new Bilstein HD's I could find on line were $265 for the full set, this auction worked out pretty well for our post holiday budget situation.
