Volks,

I have been on and off the phone all morning with Barb.

Current Status:

At Motel Six in Effingham, IL waiting for AAA tow truck to take her 111 miles to the VW Repair shop ... Wolfsburg Inc, just south of St. Louis, Missouri

Details:

In addition to the small coolant leak, this morning the bus will not start. Turns over ... but won't fire.

I plotted the location of every VW shop (from my review listings on roadhaus.com) in Illinois and Missouri to Barb's current location.

The closest shop without backtracking, is Wolfsburg.

I called the shop and spoke to one of the owners "Don" .. explained the situation and asked if they would please do all they can to assist Barb. Said they would do their best to get her back on the road as soon as possible.
