HUGE resource of this "issue" discussed in the vanagon archives. Here is just one resource. http://www.neksiwel.20m.com/custom.html Even with the brighter light out put from adding the relays you still get a poor light pattern because of the reflector design problem of the OE lights. Simply google what you have put in your subject line and start reading. I use 80/100 bulbs now, with the relays and it's better but not nearly as good/effective as E-code lights/buckets.
