Subject: Ice scraper - - was Windshield de-icer in a can?

Greetings glaciated Vanagoneers,

This thread about windshield de-icer in a can got me thinking about my own favorite ice scraper, which I bought in pre-www days at Brookstone, IIRC

So a bit of Googling brought up this - - yep, they still make 'em:

As you can see, scraping ice seems to be more of a secondary function to the designers - - still, I've used mine for years now and it still removes ice better than my AAA card :^)

One observation about de-icer-in-a-can, though The cans in our shop say "de-ices frozen locks", so that might be a good thing, which makes me wonder if it would un-stick a frozen side door - - anyone?

Gary
