Ya, I've been using Amsoil for both my van (Subaru 2.2 now) and Passat VR6 and their related filters for the last couple years. Always used the dealer filter until then (Mann/Mahle). At my age now, it's likely my vehicles will long outlive me. ;-) I better go camping now .... time's running out, but not for my vehicle motors. bob
