As always, YMMV. IMO a dinky unit is useless if you plan to boondock for more than a minute. OTOH,it's fairly easy to construct hidey-holes for the little guys. We typically sleep up top, but if the Z bed is deployed, we've got a cat litter box and a ton of shoes under there. <g>

In the past we never bothered to hide the thing- to us, it is what it is, but recently a friend of ours sold his Westy and gave me a gen-u-wine Westy accessory box, so now it's hidden away.

The good: the appliance is unseen, there's space for a few extra camping items alongside, the box is strong enough to sit on, or it can act as a footstool for the front seat when it's swiveled.

The bad: Larger footprint than before, colour is tan rather than mouse grey, it's difficult to lift 6 plus gallons of liquid out of the box, although not as tough, say, as removing the battery.
