Sounds as if you are in for a new and higher level of maintenance than
you have possible encountered before. A squealing front blower motor
usually means it is dying - and apparently yours did. There are those
who may have some other suggestions, but I suspect that  you have
entered the realm of front heater blower motor replacement - which means
removing the dash from the van in order to replace the blower motor.

/Assuming blower motor replacement - there are those on this list who
lave links to some "how-to's" for this project. Hopefully someone will
come forth with the links.
