Subject: Wheel/Tire Fitment Issue for 2WD Vanagon
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

We are searching for a tire/wheel combination that will yield a tall diameter without any grinding or cutting. The vehicle is a 2WD '86 Wolfy Westy "Weekender." Two combinations under consideration are 1) 225 70 R16 tires mounted on ET 30 wheels with 7" width and 2) 215 65 R17 tires mounted on ET 30 wheels with 7" width.   Does anyone have experience with either or both of these combinations?   Thanks.   Craig
