Maybe, but the early bushing needs to be pretty pliable for
installation. The later type sandwiches between 2 metal cups but the
early version just pushes into a hole in a flat plate. The early type
needs to be pliable enough to go half way through the hole but firm
enough to stay put with no support other than itself. If the consistency
of the material is too firm it may be a pita to install unless you drop
the tank fully for access.
