But Jim, what state? For all I know it is Texas, but in Texas one has to pay an entrance fee to the state park, then a campsite fee, and it all adds up to a tidy sum. Are homeless folks doing that? I'd think they are more into sleeping overnight in cars in out of the way places, or city parks where there are no camp sites at all. Lots of folks sleep in cars in Texas highway rest areas, btw. Can't figure out how anyone is harmed in that situation, or in the campground for that matter.

So, wherever this is, if me and my buddies pull in, pay our fees, throw up a tent for two of us, and two of us make do in the seats of a sedan, we're in violation of something. Good grief.
