OK, it's a camper or RV.  Now if you take the SS Badger car ferry across Lake Michigan you have to pay the RV rate of $5.50 a foot (15') = $82.50 instead of the normal car, SUV, pick-up truck rate of $77.      When I inquired about the RV rate I was asked if I had a sink--that would make it an RV according to their fare rules.   With my MV there was no sink.  You can decide if you want to volunteer the information that you have a sink--I don't think the good people that run the ferry would really care about a Vanagon Camper skirting the RV rate anyway.  Happy to have you aboard.   Anyone traveling to the "Buses by the Beach" camp outs from the west that wants to skip Illinois and Indiana, have fun playing bingo, name that tune, watch movies or just sit on the deck; I highly recommend the big old coal fired, steam powered car ferry.   Chris C Wisconsin       Re: Is it a car or a camper?

That's probably good advice.
