I used to daily drive a 1.6TD vanagon with stock gearing. Even with larger
tires I would bounce it off the rev limiter all day long at 110-115 kph. On
the other hand, it would do that with the car dolly/racecar in tow as
well! :) Anytime my foot was on the throttle the boost was full on.
