RE: Propex Joy, I also have a Propex installed and the controls sound identical. The rocker switch turned toward the flame is the position for heat. The other side is fan only. Mine has a red and pale green light, could be yellow instead of green. And they both come on at startup. I believe there are blinking light codes for internal problems in the Propex but you don't seem to have that problem. So, two possibilities to check out. First, low or out of propane? Second, low aux battery (assuming the power to the Propex is off your aux battery. In any case get ahold of Karl Mullendore http://westyventures.com/ and there might be some info on trouble shooting on his site.
