Gregg is right. I travel for thousands of miles often in very rural areas, always camping. The only thing I have in my diesel you could call a part (other than lights and fuses and belts) is a water pump and a gasket for it. In a box, on a shelf in my garage, is a box labeled "Diesel Alternator" packaged for shipping in case my family needs to overnight it to me. anything else new or in good shape is already installed.

Put those parts on the car in your driveway!

Jim
