Last March, Bob Stevens helped me install a new 3-window canvas from Bus Depot--the gray "genuine Westfalia German-made replacement."

It was very tight, taking some effort to "pop" the struts to vertical. Part of the tightness is due to us, part to the new canvas. I don't think it has stretched much since installation. I have not tried soaking it with a hose while open and letting it dry.

I am very pleased with it and would pick that replacement canvas again. It is a darker gray--maybe the original was very faded--but I like that. The last pix on http://jones.colorado.edu/MoabApril09/seven.html shows it.

Richard
