Now you folks know I'm still learning, but replaced the clutch on my Beetle a couple of months ago and could it not be just the clutch cable has broken? Not sure about MT vans cuz mine is an AT. Just sayin.... Michael in San Antonio 91GL AT 'Gringo' 73 Beetle
