Yes. You can get the exhaust a nice shade of red. It can also gum up pumps and injectors. Dilute it with fresh gas to burn it off or find out how to get rid of hazardous waste in your area.

I heard that old gas burns slower and can actually continue burning out the motor into the cat converter, causing heat/problems. Can anybody back up or dispute this?

sneak it into your old engine drain oil a qt or two at a time. old used gas is a hard thing to get rid of.

let it evaporate slowly in pans. ...polluting though. burn a cup at a time of it in an older car, mixed in with fresh gas.

not something you want to get stuck with, really old gas in large amounts.
