sorry, low vanagon content .................. Well, the ultimate cool thing would be to have a large enough Morgan sailboat to keep a Vanagon or VW Bus on the foredeck, with a way to off load it onto a nice size dock.

yeah....where is my sailing yacht for hanging out in warm waters ! ? I gotta get me one of those ! time for another sail boat again I think - a most fantastic lifestyle. If anyone doubt that, read Latitude 38, the best, and free ( locally in Marin Co California anyway ) sailing magazine in the world.

stay safe down there buddy ... and vanagon are just great. They take a little special care and understanding but they are excellent vehicles.

Perhaps you'll end up with on of those Mexican Bay Buses with water cooled fuel injected upright inline four gasser in the rear, and radiator on the nose. Probably a pretty cool vehicle, especially in Mexico. there are no Subaru's in Mexico either, oddly.

you could sell Vanagon themed-watercolor paintings pretty easily I bet. I'll be your agent. send me some pics off the group. lol ! stay cozy ! make sure your through-hulls are in good shape. nice to see your post too. < for those who don't know, a Morgan is a pretty serious high quality sailboat, at least in my opinion >

Oh, right, re: smart aleck remark

I guess I didn't mention that all the work (rebuild 2.1, heads, exhaust, bearings, Temp II, etc) was work I did myself, thanks to Big Green Book and list members know-how and support, so I'm no prima donna who runs his vehicle to shop at the drop of a hat. Firstly, there are no shops for Vanagons in this part of world, nor is there parts, or even relics in junk yards.

See ya' in Paradise, all it takes is a decision.
