Actually you do need some precision. Almost all tire balancers rely on the center bore to center and mount the rims for balancing. Especially the inside. It takes a fairly large lathe or a milling machine with turn table to handle 15" wheels. Considering the liability and all this is not a bad deal. Using Audi wheels you may need spacers and longer studs/bolts. Also keep in mind that on the Audi the center bore is used as part of the support or mounting package. Not to start a new wheel tread but it wouldn't be me.

Gotta enlarge the centerbores to fit the front grease caps on Cunegonde's new Audi rims. Before we mount the new Geolandar tires. The only quote I could find was over $40/rim! I don't need precision, I just need the centerbores enlarged about 7mm. What is the list wisdom?
