Hi Mark,

IIRC, Bear went to EveryBus 2001 in a vanagon dormobile that had an oddball type1 engine in it. Is this one of *those* motors? Kinda like a mashup of a type4 and an industrial type1 engine? I have heard that they are a righteous PITA to source an exhaust for.

I am pretty certain that Canada did get singlecabs and doublecabs during the 80-83 era but I can't say that I've ever seen one. Every Canadian aircooled vanagon I have ever seen had a fuel-injected type4 engine in it.

Greg
