dear vanagoniters

yesterday i recieved another call from insurance valuation guy
he says we have arrived at an offer for you
23K$
plus provincial sales tax and goods and services tax (so add extra 5% +7% )

i says ok well this does not mean i will be dropping the drive to achieve
the 30K$ face value of the policy ...
i get a round about answers ... i tell him anything sent to me wil only be
considered a payment toward face value

my lawyer tells me if i accept the lower offer i will be considered closed
case and will have to sue to achieve the difference so...
i send an email to the adjuster person who is a different person than
valuation guy ...

adjuster person answers back that my discussion can only be with the
valuation guy and the valuation guy says i need to discuss only with
adjuster

i email to tell them to stop referring to each other and to speak with one
voice ////

then i go to see my Member of the Legislature ...
right away they see the face value and the game being played ...
phone calls and letters are now being made and written between the elected
and the government run insurance co.

i also asked the elected member to tell them i wanted to buy back my wreck
so i could send it to the graveyard of my choice

we shall see what happens next
